    I am a 27 year old mother of 2 wonderful children.  I have struggled with my weight my entire life.  I had a tough childhood and wasn't taught much of anything about fitness and nutrition.  So I tried everything looking for answers. I have spent a good portion of my life looking for the next "quick fix".  Every time I would end up more discouraged and heavier before. 
    I am the queen of excuses, being a mom I find it easier to take care of others needs before my own and so naturally I was excusing my way closer and closer to 300 pounds on my 5'5'' frame when I met Amy.  After meeting with Amy the first time I felt different.  I was able to work out much longer and harder than ever before and I really broke a sweat. You see, Amy has this great way of training me to where I enjoy it but also know when she means business.  I enjoy talking with her while doing cardio and am able to switch gears nicely when she changes the pace on me.  And as far as excuses go....... not much gets by her and that’s EXACTLY what I need in a trainer.  When I am sick she is compassionate and not pushy, yet she makes sure I get right back on track when the illness subsides.  As far as other excuses or reasons to not exercise she ALWAYS has great solutions. 
    My kids had colds and couldn't go to child care which would normally set me back several weeks and make me lose motivation.  Amy suggested we walk/jog/train around a local lake with the kids.  We did and it was great for everyone!  These are just a few of the ways Amy really steps up as my trainer.  She knows the struggles I face as a mom to young children and tailors my program to my life. 
     I have lost 17 pounds this month and have kept it off!  I love watching the number continue to drop on the scale!  I have a book that Amy has me log my calories in and it really helps me understand why I gain or lose weight.  EVERY bite counts.  I have never lost this much weight this fast without any "secret pills" etc. just takes hard work and a GREAT trainer!  Our goal this month is another 20 pounds and I know we can do it.

   As you can see my life is changing rapidly and I can't wait to update you as we go along.  If I can do it!  Anybody can.  I would recommend Amy as a trainer to anyone, she makes even the biggest skeptic at ease and comfortable.  Thank you so much Amy for always believing in me and never giving up on me.
