Why Do I Need A Fitness Program?
Studies show that people looking to improve their fitness and improve their health achieve significantly greater results when using a trainer. An effective personal trainer can guide you, motivate you, and educate you. Trainers provide accountability and discipline. All Saturday boot camps are 7am or 9am.  Saturdays are free to first time campers and campers already involved in the program.  Saturday boot camps are only $5.00 for repeat users.

How Do I Sign Up?
You can contact us via email from the CONTACT US page and we will call you with in 48 hours to register you for our fitness program.  You can also pay from the home page. There is a sercure link to paypal with payment options.

What Do I Need To Bring?
All you need to bring is an exercise mat or beach towel, 5lb or 8lb hand weights (optional), water bottle, and tennis shoes.  Resistance bands are provided.

What Is Involved With The Fitness Assessment?
An important part of any responsible training program, a fitness assessment objectively measures your current level of physical fitness. Without an effective fitness assessment, growth cannot be accurately measured. A "Walk" In The Park Fitness assessment incorporates many different methods to achieve accurate results.
The Fitness assessment measures:

  • Weight
  • Body fat
  • BMI (Body Mass Index)
  • Body Measurements

What If I Am Not Physically Fit?
People of all fitness levels no matter shape, size, or age workout at their own pace. NOBODY will be asked to complete more than they are capable of doing safely and NOBODY will be left behind.

What Exercises Are Offered At The Bootcamps?
We will guide you through a program that will develop strength and increase endurance. We ensure that workouts don't get repetitive or boring. We will combine weights, cardio, core strengthing, short distance running, circuit drills obstacle courses and TRX coming soon to give you optimum results.

Tracking Results
At the begining and end of each four week bootcamp we conduct fitness assessments. We measure your body fat, weight, BMI, and body measurements.  At A "Walk" In The Park Fitness it is important to us that you see the results!  You can expect a 3 to 5% decrease in body fat and a 5 to 12 pound weight loss. 

Nutrition Counseling

Together we will develop a plan for healthy eating. We will determine the vitamins and minerals that are required for your optimum health. We will guide you through the process and help you get through hurdles along the way.

Ongoing Training and Support
We will show you techniques to improve strength and endurance for a lifetime. You will learn valuable techniques that can be incorporated into your lifestyle for years to come.
